She Currently attends Rutland Christian School where she is a 5th grader.

Alyssa started riding at the age of 4 when her Dad, Troy met Jennifer. Jennifer had always had horses all her life and goes back 8 generations of family members having horses. Jennifer continued to have horses and as Alyssa grew she started showing Appaloosa's in leadline at Regional shows then she moved up to Walk Trot which she currently shows her Appaloosa mare A Cute Conclusion. Last year she showed the familes three mares My Wild Impression, A Cute Conclusion and Im An Awesome Tease ranging from Halter, Hunter in Hand, Showmanship, Equitation to Pleasure.

Alyssa is also a member Green Mnt Appaloosa Horse Club and a 4-H.

2008 GLApHC Awards include Hi-Point 13 & Under Champion, Reserve Hi Point Novice Youth, Hi Point Open Youth Champion, Hi Point Open Halter Champion and Hi Point Contest Champion.
